Who We Are

Bloomfield Hills Robotics is a 501(c)(3) . Our mission is to inspire and support students in the STEM fields by hosting and participating in community events, and providing opportunities for hands-on experience in designing, building, and programming robots. Through mentorship, teamwork, and access to resources, we strive to foster innovation, creativity and leadership skills in our students, preparing them for the future. We aspire to empower the next generation of thinkers, problem solvers, and engineers.

About Our Program

Each year, approximately 300 kids enrolled in the Bloomfield Hills School District join a robotics team. For teams in grades 4-12, they strategize, design, and build a robot in just 6 weeks, and then compete at regional, state, and world championship levels for points in the game while also vying for awards in design, safety, engineering, and community impact. Our youngest kids, teams in grades 2-3, work on coding, building an android powered motorized Lego™ robot, and then celebrate what they’ve learned after 12 weeks.
